Trojans top Warriors, Bull Frogs
Center Grove claimed both halves of a Tuesday three-way meet against Whiteland and Columbus North, with the girls and boys winning by more than 50 points each. The Trojans, who won every relay on the night, got wins on the girls side from Keeley Shields (200 freestyle), Averie Matern (200 IM), Clara Brandon (50 free), Addy Matern (100 free), Grace Campbell (100 back) and Santana Gonzalez (100 breast). For the boys, Aksh Ranjan (200 IM), Elias Watson (100 back) and Moses Weaver (100 breast) were individual winners.
The host Warriors got first-place efforts from Chase Cooper (boys 50 and 100 freestyle), Mason Benefield (boys 500 free) and Claire Cox (girls diving).
Grizzly Cubs sweep Quakers
Franklin completed a big sweep of its chief Mid-State Conference rival, with the boys topping Plainfield by a 103-79 score and the girls notching a 109-77 win. The Grizzly Cub girls swept all three relays and got individual wins from Jovie Mowrey (100 butterfly, 100 backstroke), Emma Small (200 individual medley), Simone Craig (500 freestyle) and Hadley Royer (100 breaststroke). The boys also won every relay and got first-place showings from Alijah Hall (200 IM, 100 breast), Aleksandr Ries (50 free, 100 fly), Noah Barnett (500 free) and David Barnett (100 back).
Woodmen split three-way
Greenwood tested itself against Brebeuf Jesuit and host Perry Meridian in a triple dual, with the boys earning two victories and the girls coming up short twice. The Woodmen boys won the 200 and 400 freestyle relays and got individual victories from Nick McCoy (200 freestyle), Arya Gokhale (100 butterfly) and Griffin Kroll (100 breaststroke). The girls got wins from Emma Tschopp (50 and 100 free), Ryann Marker (100 fly) and the 400 free relay.

Braves defeat Monrovia
Alexa Sichting’s 24 points helped power Indian Creek to a 59-45 triumph over Monrovia on Tuesday. Ellie Oliver added 10 points for the Braves (6-4), followed by Ayla Lollar with nine and Alivia White with seven.
Boys basketball
Cougars fall to Crusaders
Greenwood Christian suffered a 48-36 home loss against Scecina on Tuesday. Noah Reed had 14 points for the Cougars (1-4), while Will Simons and Eli Jackson contributed six apiece.
