Nearly All Wizards Regular Season & Preseason Games Available on Monumental Sports Network and Monumental+ App
Ten-station Wizards Radio Network will also have full team coverage throughout upcoming season
Washington, D.C. (October 1, 2024) – Monumental Sports Network (MNMT) announced today that 81 regular season and five preseason Washington Wizards games will air live on the independent media platform during the 2024-25 NBA season. The network’s packed slate will include the NBA Mexico City Game 2024 against the Miami Heat on Saturday, November 2, as well as the team’s regular season opener against the defending champion Boston Celtics on Thursday, October 24 (featuring a special one-hour pregame show).
The first game available on Monumental Sports Network will be the team’s preseason opener on Sunday, October 6 against the Toronto Raptors, being played in Montreal. The game will be free for fans to stream on monumentalplus.com and on the newly launched Monumental+ app. The network’s Wizards coverage will include comprehensive pre- and postgame programs and weekly magazine show Beyond the Buzzer and other original programming highlighting the top on- and off-court stories, featuring stars Kyle Kuzma and Jordan Poole, rising sophomore Bilal Coulibaly, and exciting rookies Alex Sarr, Bub Carrington, and Kyshawn George.

The Wizards broadcast booth during the 2024-25 season will feature play-by-play announcer Chris Miller and color analyst Drew Gooden, who are entering their 3rd and 7th seasons at MNMT respectively. Miller and Gooden will be joined by sideline reporter Meghan McPeak, who enters her 3rd season as part of Wizards game broadcasts. The vast majority of Wizards games on Monumental will air on MNMT, with 14 airing on overflow station M2. The Wizards game on January 16 vs. Phoenix will air exclusively on TNT.
Wizards games on Monumental Sports Network will be bookended with live gameday programs Wizards Pregame Live and Wizards Postgame Live. These shoulder programs will broadcast live from MNMT’s state-of-the-art studios and will provide the latest Wizards news, analysis, and commentary for a half hour before and one hour after games. Wes Hall returns as the fulltime host of both gameday programs and will be joined by a strong rotation of analysts, including Jason Smith, Christy Winters Scott, Tony Massenburg, Jimmy Patsos, and Greivis Vásquez, as well as appearances from Glenn Consor and Ron Thompson.
Wizards games on Monumental Sports Network will be available to local fans both on linear tv and via streaming platforms within the network’s coverage area, stretching from Richmond to Delaware. Wizards fans can watch the games through their TV provider, on monumentalplus.com, or by downloading the Monumental+ app on iOS, Android, Apple TV, Roku, and Amazon Fire TV and using an eligible TV Everywhere log-in.
In addition to the traditional broadcast, live Wizards game coverage on the Monumental+ app will include the return of MNMT’s alternate broadcasts with fun and relaxed insights from an exciting rotation of guests (more info will be announced soon). Through the Monumental+ app, fans will also have the ability to watch the game from multiple camera angles through the innovative multi-view feature. This season, Monumental+ will offer the ability to watch Capitals and Wizards games simultaneously when they play on the same night, the freedom to watch the main broadcast and alternate broadcasts at the same time, and six alternate camera angles for Capitals and Wizards home games.
