Future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady has been to his fair share of Super Bowls.
Brady made 10 Super Bowl appearances throughout his legendary career with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the most by any quarterback in NFL history. He walked away with the Lombardi Trophy a record seven times, most recently in 2020, when Brady lead the Buccaneers to a 31–9 blowout win over Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 55 in Tampa, Florida. He also picked up his fifth Super Bowl MVP, the most held by any player.
Five years later, Brady is back in the Super Bowl, but not like we are used to.
After retiring from the NFL for the second and final time in February 2023, Brady started his second act as Fox Sports’ lead NFL color commentator in September at the start of the 2024 season. Now, the rookie broadcaster is set to make his Super Bowl debut in the booth.

Here’s everything you need to know about Fox’s lineup for the broadcast of Super Bowl 59 between the Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles:
Super Bowl 59 announcers
Fox Sports’ lead NFL broadcast team of Tom Brady and Kevin Burkhardt will call Super Bowl 59 from the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, where Brady won his first Super Bowl with the New England Patriots in February 2002.
Brady will provide color commentary in his first Super Bowl call, while Burkhardt will be on play-by-play duties. It will be Burkhardt’s second Super Bowl call; he previously called Super Bowl 57 alongside Greg Olsen in 2023, when the Chiefs defeated the Eagles, 38-35, in Glendale, Arizona. (Does that matchup look familiar?)
Brady and Burkhardt will be joined by Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi on the sidelines. This marks Andrews’ fourth Super Bowl and Rinaldi’s second Super Bowl as sideline reporters. Mike Pereira will serve as the rules analyst in his sixth Super Bowl with Fox.

“Fox NFL Sunday” and “Fox NFL Kickoff” are teaming up for a pregame show that will provide over five hours of live coverage from Bourbon Street ahead of Super Bowl 59. The lineup features Curt Menefee, Super Bowl champions Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, Michael Strahan and Rob Gronkowski, in addition to Super Bowl champion coach Jimmy Johnson and Fox NFL insider Jay Glazer.
